The entire story Of Six Gun Quixote was inspired by a series of urban cowboy poems by John Toone. Not long before we had convinced each other to actually create the thing I had travelled to Tombstone Arizona, home of the famous gunfight at the Okay Corral. The idea that you could be haunted, not by a ghost, but the ghost of a myth, really started to influence the writing as it took shape. While finishing the final draft I had the very good fortune to return to Tombstone and spend some time with the official town historian, Mr Ben Traywick, and while he may never know it, there is a lot of dusty character I was able to weave into the story and images that I could never had done otherwise.
